A Personal Message From Our Founder:
“As a husband and father, I am driven to empower my wife and daughter against breast cancer. As a friend and
colleague to those who have been affected by the disease, I have a strong sense of mission. My passion for design
and innovation, coupled with our amazing and talented team, has allowed our innovation lab to embark on the
development of this very important project, and I have great confidence that we will ultimately help solve an
important part of this growing problem and save many lives.”
Breast cancer affects everyone. In 2015, more than 200,000 women in the U.S. alone will have been diagnosed with invasive breast cancer, with roughly 40,000 of these cases resulting in death. ONE our of every EIGHT women that reach 85 years old will develop breast cancer. The number of women, families and their friends this disease touches in the U.S. and worldwide is immense.
According to the Breast Cancer Center at the Rockwell Park Institute in Buffalo, NY; the real cost of treating cancer is over $50,000. This represents nearly $4 Billion for the U.S. market according to the National Cancer Institute.
Despite millions invested in research and development of solutions, the number of cases and deaths continue to rise globally.
Early detection is key. Up to 90% of deaths and thousands of radical and invasive surgeries and treatments can be prevented when the cancer is detected early on.
